The Forest in the Fall, natural pigments on linen, 40 x 30 inches
I am using multiple natural pigments in this series, black choke berry, charcoal and golden rod from Muskoka combined with wild grape from Lake Ontario shoreline with undertones of pea flower and turmeric.
This forest was sold and will become a memory just like the image it is also fading into non existence.
Below is how the forest was used, another crucifixion of of an ecosystem in the Muskoka Watershed.
Unfortunately by October 23, 2022 the trees were gone, the hole was dug and on November 20 they blasted the bedrock.
